Wanted drone pro mount
Niel Mccillop drone pro mount for Tikka wanted. I know they are like hens teeth to find but last time I asked for one it came up for sale a fortnight later. Unfortunately I missed it. PM me if you have one please.

A picture of what we're talking about is in my post on this link.

Neil McKillop only ever made the initial batch but it sounds as if John Carr is now making them.... I'm sure Les will let us know in due course.
Unless JC has taken it further, they're specifically for Tikka dovetail rails and replace the QR Picatinny mount on the DP..... the QR mount isn't to everyone's taste but I've never had a problem with my original DP 5/10 retaining zero...and that's after several years use swapping from a Zeiss dayscopes in Recknagel QR lever mounts to the DP on dark and the rifles sit in the cabinet without 'scopes on.

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

Cheers Fizz,
I saw the mount in question a while back on one of your posts. Ive got a tikka so that's ideal just want to be able to bring the unit back and down a bit for a more comfortable and flatter shooting shot. It's got to be better overall. I had a gen 1 military style night vision for a while but due to it being sat so high it was really hard to get it to be consistent. Bang on at 100 way off at any other range.

If you've got a T3 without a rising cheekpiece I can recommend the Kalixteknik riser, I've got one on my Blaser R93 Off-road Pro stock and its v v good...easy to fit too. Drops flush with the stock to remove the bolt.
My Tikka is a 595 but they don't do a specific kit to fit that (yet) and suggested I try a T3 kit and Callum Ferguson at Precision Rifles sent me one down to see if it was feasible. It can be done but the standard pillars aren't really long enough at 78mm, which, due to the depth of plastic in the comb of the stock, didn't give enough height adjustment to be worthwhile.
I reckon the pillars need to be 88mm to give me a 25mm odd rise and the factory have said they'll make these for me in the next run.....whenever that might be. I've asked if they can include a selection of spacers too, the block needs 5mm height at the front to allow for the different angles internally/externally and I haven't got anything that will measure the horizontal gaps.

Cheers Fizz,
Just got rid of my 22. Hornet to make way for a new Tikka (22-250). I'm just waiting for the Thames Valley slow coaches to sort my variation! So so slow...but will just order the Tikka with the adjustable comb.
