Photon XT 11x50s , doubler,Burris zee pos a-line rings

Post by Chibby1971 » 04 May 2018, 09:18

For sale my 10 month old photon XT 6.5x50 With Doubler professionally fitted screwed in and lock tighted so no POI movement , Burris signature zee pos Aline offset rings weaver/piccatiny 30mm mounts so that you don’t run out of adjustment, Weaver tail fitted between mounts for IR as not to put pressure on front of scope causing POI movement..
I use a black sun 2 67mm with this and is NOT included in sale ,if I was capable could shoot foxes 500yards easily, it’s a mega piece of kit !
Shot 88 foxes with this ,, selling everything so I can buy the thermal WT1 75-3, I’m a keeper based in Norfolk if you would like to view..
Any questions please ask , ManyThanks

Coupla Qs.
How long have you been a keeper?
Have you in earlier times used tube based nv e.g. Starlight Archer?
If so How long past did you evolve to digital?

Cheers & regards,
Bradley

Had a pvs14 gen 3 add on and I think the photon is better .. don’t think it can beat thermal tho . Got one fox that soon as I turn IR on runs like hell .. and I havnt missed one down that end of the farm .. weather someone else has ..cheers

Sorry got in late last night was foxing lol,
Been now officially full time keeping only two years , but been involved in the shooting world paid for fifteen years , cost is the main thing starlight archers are big bucks and everything is evolving very quickly , I personally think old tube based NV will be obsolete soon as digital and thermal progress, I would have gone down the drone pro road but for £600 set up my photon stuff and opted to spend all the pennies on a thermal spotter which at the time was the pulsar quantum XQ50 . For me it’s the best combo ! Thermal spotter and then NV to shoot , but as thermal getting better but still pricey, but want to progress to this as sometimes with NV I only have seconds to shoot and for instance a fox in sedge grass or bracken I can see it clearly in thermal but can’t pick it up quickly in scope ,
I use my hilux with a 360 degree wooden slide on off frame and use it as a portable high seat ! Swivel office chair , don’t tend to call as I find they home in on you and like last night with the moon if theve got all senses honed in on you they soon suss you out .. any way long stories short .. now I’ve got over the official outlay of all the gear I can now afford to go to the “next” level .. and spend some more money lol ..
