Just a bit of advice if you don`t mind.
If you intend using it with a Ward 700 or 800s see if you can try before you buy as I could not get the MOA ret version to sharp focus the ret. But then my eye`s are nearly 60 and have to use glasses for reading. The 4-20x50 and 2.5-17.5 MOA versions are fine.

Yes guys I’m planning on Wardy 800 for one , but that’s conflicting advice as I’ve heard / told the 3x15x42. Is better all round for Wardy 800

Cheers

I don't have a S-Tac 3-15 x 42 but I do have two S-Tac 2.5 17.5 x 56 and was recommended the WD 800L because the ret on them is fine but I use the WD800s and find it just right for me and I use glasses for reading so what suits one person might not suit you .

You may be okay with it, just try before you buy if poss.
Speak to Shaun, JP or Lisa at Optics Warehouse, they are aware of the issues and have no doubt they will let you exchange if you don`t get on with it.

The New Hawke Endurance WA 4-16x50 LR dot that I am testing is looking promising.

I have that scope with my Ward 800S but find the Falcon M18 FFP better. As said before, try before you buy.
