Re: Somebody stop me !

Do you still use your challenger Dave? God it seems like an age since I had one and thought it was pretty good lol Yes Adam for ratting only, although over the years iv'e had two extremely good ratting permissions that have just dried up, spending most of my shooting nights out after foxes now, but...

Re: Somebody stop me !

I am a challenger owner myself. You have listed one area where the challenger excels, (shot distance ratting) with tubed n/v it has good contrast and you can pick the rats up easily against the back ground their in -------other than eye relief their very hard to better for this type of shooting ----...

Re: new arrival advice required

Hi and welcome to the forum. When you say you have tried weaver rail and Yukon mount, IF YOU HAVE BOUGHT THEM, then id try to get them to work by carefully shimming (coke can) the mount. If you haven’t bought owt then with a Tikka your often best fitting a weaver rail because of the silly sized dove...

Re: Wanted cylinder

Out of test air bottles. They wont fill it if its out of test ------too dangerous You can have the bottle re tested, because the air used for re filling is "DRY" i am told rust isnt the problem, if they fail it usually the internal thread in the neck of the bottle ---- if your bottle FAILS the test ...

Re: First trip with the addonight

Good result
You will find that a totally dark night away from a full moon will allow the n/v to work better with just using i/r without it mixing with moon light, you will also be able to walk them rabbits down closer.

Well done Dave (warbucks)

Re: Looking for an add on for rimfire and center fire

I don't like the big screen type. So wanted an in line type. Sent from my SM-J320FN using Tapatalk That about limits your choice of an add on to a used NT300 (one on the bay) or a WDV. Which would be your choice? What about tubed ? Regards Dan Sent from my SM-J320FN using Tapatalk The NT 300 has AB...

Re: Looking for an add on for rimfire and center fire

Hi Dan. Advise. You will have found out with the photon extreme that finding quarry in the first place is hard due to the narrow field of view, here a "good" n/v add on system will beat it as you can locate the quarry on say 3/4 mag, then once on it mag up to 12 or more with still as good as or bett...
