Hi , the kite units I know of use 2AA batteries and there is a twist switch to turn the unit on with the option to switch it the other way ,which provides a ^ style aiming point hope this helps , Jim

Thanks for clarifying that ,we both said we couldn't take a rifle up but wasn't sure about the blazer as both the trigger and bolt were removable so at least we know ,it was only a discussion between mates sat in a draughty landy . And iv never sped between average speed cameras so they are very goo...

Thanks ,iv looked at them but was worried about the way it attached around the palm grip . Do you find it gets in the way while shooting or dont you notice it . Jim
