Re: Pulsar ultra n455

Try boresigting the rifle at 50 yards, and then get zeroed at that distance Pretty much any centrefire rifle will be within 2-3 inches high or low of that zero out to around 200 yards, so you should be able to make fine adjustments to get the reticle near the centre of the screen. Re: Spotting scope

Plenty of used spotting scopes on E Bay
Typically x20-x60
Kowa, Tamron, Opticron, Celestron, Nikon, Zeiss and Swarovski re all good brands and more than good enough for seeing bullet holes at 100 yards

Re: Night vision hard work

There's a simple solution - forget about tubed NV - it's a feckin minefield
Go digital
Digital rear add-ons - PARD NV007 or Ward WDV800
Digital scope - day and night - PARD NV008
Digital scope - night only - Yukon Photon or ENV10

Re: Newbie with Pard

The PARD NV007 is far and away the best "bang for your buck" night vision add-on.
You do need a scope that has some sort of focus adjustment (AO or side focus) to get the best out of it.

Re: PCB potting advice please

Adam,
Sikaflex marine sealant - non acid and goes like a lump of hard rubber when set

You wouldn't want to get into the circuit board again though!!!

Re: PCB potting advice please

Make sure that whatever you use, it doesn't contain acid. For example, most silicone sealants (which would do the job) contain acetic acid which would corrode the metallic parts of the circuit board and components Personally, I'd go with a conformal coating applied by spraying. Something like this w...
