Re: Newbie. Which spotter

You would be able to see a deer at 500+ yards and a fox or an owl a few yards away, if you know what you are looking at. Thermal does not produce high resolution images, and species recognition is all about practice With the xm30, the maximum DETECTION range for a roe deer size target is around 1500...

Re: Newbie. Which spotter

The Sirius will work with the NV019 - you can see that exact set up working in this video from about 32:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LCmCfun02A However you will need the adaptor and scope ring shown at the very end of the video to be able to mount the sirius on the underside of the PARD Cheer...

Re: Newbie. Which spotter

I’m almost ready to buy the Pard NV019. Would you recommend an extra external IR torch for spotting above 200 meters? Which one? I’ve seen this one. Is it good? https://www.customriflescopes.com/shop.html#!/T75mm-940Nm-3w-IR-torch-with-twin-battery-tube-Oslon-Black/p/103220778/category=34270035 Is ...

Re: Newbie. Which spotter

Rather than the Bushnell, which is fixed magnification and does not have a very good IR illuminator, I recommend the PARD NV019 which has variable magnification from 1x to 6x and an excellent onboard IR illuminator that will work well out to around 150m - it's also significantly cheaper than the Bus...

Re: Pulsar n450 vs ENV 10

No contest, ENV10 wins every time
The Pulsar N450 is overpriced - it's no better than a PARD NV008 which costs lot less than half of an N450

Re: Hello everyone !

OK, you've got an NV scope with x6.5 magnification and you are shooting a sub 12ftlbs air rifle Given it's effective range, you simply don't need any more magnification - in fact you could probably do with a bit less and get some more field of view. Forget the whole lens thing and get out and shoot ...

Hi, does anyone have a digital manual they could email me, please plus what is the max size sd card you can use?
many thanks
Saul
Brand and speed of the card is the most important thing.
I use a 32Gb Sandisk Ultra and have never had any problems with it.

Re: PARD 007 /VORTEX DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL FFP

Minimum focus distance with the 008 is 2 yards I have an 008 on my Tikka T1x rimfire and there's nothing I can't do with this set up that I could do with the Hawke Frontier I had on it before, plus now, I don't have to faff around with the add-on for NV work. The 008 works for me, but I don't have a...

Re: PARD 007 /VORTEX DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL FFP

Probably the sidewinder and 007 with a 12mm lens
At 20 yards, the x6 magnifiction on the 008 is going to make it difficult to find the target.

Cheers

Re: PARD 007 /VORTEX DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL FFP

The Hawke and 007 is probably a bit better at low magnifications when there's plenty IR coming through the scope. At high magnifications,I think the 008 is better because there's a lot less IR coming through the scope In each case I'm only using the on board IR illuminators. Using an external IR ill...
