Re: Hikmicro panther
I had a PQ50L on test for a while and found it a bit overpriced for what it was It's the same lens, sensor and display as my Thunder TQ50, (which costs £2100) so produces the same image quality but runs on a single 18650 battery and has a rangefinder. However that battery and rangefinder adds £1100 ...

Re: New member introduction
To get the best out of the Wraith mini at night you need a laser based IR rather than the supplied LED based IR One of these will do the job (get the variable rotary version), and remember to get an adjustable mount to that you can point it in the right direction https://www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/b...

Re: New Member Who Wants To See The Light In The Dark
OK, tell us a bit more about what you want to do Are you just looking for wildlife during the hours of darkness or do you also want to shoot it? If you want to shoot - what do you want to shoot: rats, rabbits, foxes, deer, boar? If you are going to shoot what kind of rifle(s) and what pellet(s)/cart...

Re: PARD new additions
The user manual is all over the place! The title says it is for the FTR34 (LRF) - which appears to be a thermal monocular However, the "Key features" section repeatedly refers to the TA32 and TA62 series of thermal devices already on sale. The specification states that the objective lens is "all gla...

Re: PARD new additions
You clearly don't understand how product marketing works
You come out with a new product that you claim to be better than your previous offerings and people will buy it to get away from the problems of the old model
Also, people like new toys

Re: PARD new additions
Paul, Great find - thanks very much! Looks like there will be 6 models FD1, FD2 and FD3 each with or without an LRF The pics only appear to show a non LRF NV model with the objective lens, IR illuminator and battery housing visible I agree that the mounting holes on the underside and what appears to...

Re: Why so many refurbished ATN thermal scopes on Ebay?
I'm not slagging off all Chinese products. My first thermal was Guide which is made in china and I currently have HIK and Senopex thermal scopes which are both made in China. My point is that in general the shooting community in the USA is generally unenthusiastic about chines made products, so US c...

Re: Why so many refurbished ATN thermal scopes on Ebay?
They are popular in the USA because they are regarded as a US company that sells NV and thermal products at very competitive prices compared to other US companies. However, most US buyers are unaware of the fact that all of ATNs products are actually manufactured in China - they make nothing in the ...
