Post by Cornish fixer » 16 Jul 2015, 19:39

 hi guys ,I might be preaching to the experienced but thought I might share some advice regarding keeping the old buzzards away from your poults this year .i have for years tried all legal means to try and keep them off with out much success but think I have got it cracked now ,for the last two years I've been using mannequin heads on poles moving them around in the pens And it works, birds are not stressed out( or me),there not expensive to get and might be of help to those of you with birds didn't lose any last year and none so far this year which normally they would be having a right go cheers

My mate did try but got no where ?? Got strange look off the farm workers when putting a load out on pen fences and the like but they all agreed that they don't see buzzards anywhere the pens when they travel around which was not what they used see certanly has kept them off mine to date ,just thought I would share it for those who might have same probs
