Whats happened to Rolaid ?.
Hi everyone, has any nvfuk members seen or heard from Rolaid of Rolaids bench fame. What a guy, he along with Marky, somebloke and many more inspired me to start my own nv builds. They all produced fantastic youtube vids full of information, there knowledge of nightvision and the willingness to share with others is outstanding. Where ever you are and what ever your doing i wish you good health, keep up the good work. Cheers Trevor.

Re: Whats happened to Rolaid ?.
He was taking a large chunk of time off during the winter to travel. His boy was big on skiing. He only lives about 350 klicks south of me. Early winter was warm, and most everyone dragged the ski season out until March. He's probably just starting his summer now.

Only 350 clicks ?That's over halfway down our country
I don't go that far on holiday.
Reminds me of when i worked with the Yanks a few years back, I told them i worked near London and one of them asked if i new "#### ####" ?
Oh come on, UK isn't that small
Re: Whats happened to Rolaid ?.
Yes it is. I have to drive for seven hours to visit my folks and I still have to drive three hours past that to get to the state border. It's not a real country if it doesn't cross time zones.

We do have time zones, there's Somerset time which is a few hours behind, Cornish time which is days behind then there's doley time, and they don't give a monkeys what day it is, it's all the same to them

If you ask us in US (don't bother asking, we'll just tell you anyways...we're good like that
)... The Greenwich time was the "invention of standartized time". Greenwich time would be the first "standard of time" built for mariner purposes.
Timezones were a 'Murican thing. The country was so big, trains were never on time and crashed into one another. The invention of timezones forced the railroads to a punctual standard.
