New to the group
Hi all new to the group and using a throw together night vision set using bits i got from Amazon but looking at a better scope add on and wow trying to get hold of a pard nv007 is like hens teeth.....any other alternative out there....cheers
Re: New to the group
Welcome to the funny farm,
Hope you've got deep pockets as this place can get expensive.
As for the Pard 007, the new OLED ones should start to become available soon, a couple of friendly peeps on here will stock them.
Second hand ones are few and far between at present due to the lack of availability of new ones.
There are alternatives if you want to stick with add-on, i use a Ward 800 behind a Delta Tit and its a great combo on the .223. My 007 is only for PCP duties.
Or go for a Pard 008 or a Sightmark Wraith if you want a dedicated day/night scope, different folks will have varying opinions as to the two models, but I'm well chuffed with my 008 for 17HMR bunny duties.

Re: New to the group
Deep pockets just a little but very short arms lol....im using a 22lr so i thought the nv007 would do me proud out to 200 yards....in no real rush but to be honest it looks a good little unit......scope i have the hawke airmax sf30 3x12x50.
Re: New to the group
You've got a good scope in the Airmax, great with add-on NV like the Pard.
You will spot out to 150-200 yds with the onboard IR on a good night with a 007 which is further than the 22 will be effective anyway.
Keep your eyes peeled to pick up a second hand one, or contact Ian at Blackwood Outdoors to see when he is expecting a delivery of 007's

Re: New to the group
Just had a look at link and only 12 mm going i would like the 16mm but if i can see out to 150/200 yrds i will be a happy chappy.....
Re: New to the group
With 12mm the day scope FOV and magnification would be not affected so if 12x is enough for longer ranges you get to enjoy larger FOV at short ranges.
