Pulsar Helion Pixels

Post by Gadger » 29 Sep 2022, 15:34

When out in night time with the Pulsar Helion XQ38F I have noticed 4 spots on the display which I thought was spec's of dust, I now believe them to be dead pixels, what can I do to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Go into the main menu and use the defective pixel repair routine.
The details of how to do it are in the manual you should have

Hi Bruce, I have downloaded the Pulsar XQ38F instructions on line and have gone through the sequence of how to repair the damaged pixels.
I have placed the damaged pixel inside the cross as accurately as I can by moving the X and Y axis as instructed, however, there is a supposed to be a magnified PIP of the pixel within the cross, it is not present when viwed.
Also, when I get that pixel inside the cross as accurately as I can on the mainscreen and press the record button to repair that pixel, it tells me OK as per instructions, but the damaged pixel remains.
Can anybody let me know if the have experienced the same, or am I missing something !

Thanks Gareth
