Zebidee is late said Doogle.... Boing Zebidee arrives. :D

Hi Ian, welcome to the forum. :thumbup:

I have a new batch of slightly improved battery screen pods for spotters arriving in a few days. In order to get the boxes to freely release from the mould pattern a draft had to be added which made it difficult to fit a weaver base to the top because it would point slightly downwards. It was never an issue with the more expensive solvent welded M42 lens modules because a scope mount provided a weaver base solution that pointed to where the camera viewed.

The new boxes have a small parallel section at the top and bottom centres to allow a short weaver base to be fitted for an illuminator and a tripod or handle to screw into the bottom. They will be £24 each with the side seating/pivot pillars welded in place. Holes if required will be charged at a fiver each towards my machine tooling costs. That makes the newer ones cheaper than the first batch which also had to cover the original pattern costs.

I only have this scratched sample of the new ones - you won't see the scratch if you mount it the other way up if you can't wait;

Shown here with a build in progress using an M42 lens adaptor fitted to the last of my current boxes:

The C mount adaptors are currently out of stock but will be £15 (edited), and the larger M42 SLR adaptors are £24.
