Beer with a Yank!

Post by Krm944 » 01 Mar 2015, 17:57

Yeppers, wife and I confirmed some dates and she's dragging me across the pond. My inlaws are near London in Berkhampstead. We possibly will make it out to Chester as that's where she grew up.....heading over July 14 for about 2-3 weeks.

Any sort of shows or exhibitions going on?

So- who's nearby and wants to have a beer? We can tell lies about hunting and I'll bend your ear about Night Vision and lamping!!!

I certainly want to check out a gun store! My father in law tells of the crazy laws over there and how hard it is to get a gun- was great story as his 15 year old grand son was building his own AR 15!!!!

I am very jealous you guys can get suppressors very easily.

You need to set up a firearms friendly noise abatement society to work on your behalf.
I really have difficulty understanding the logic behind some firearms rulings.

Generally they are the result of near religious ideology/faith. Logic is neither required or allowed. In the case of some anti-gunners, I am fairly sure it has been surgically removed through lobotomy, or seriously suppressed through medication intended to help with their paranoid psychosis.

krm944, you are starting him out well. He needs a pre-pollution control muscle car to rebuild and you'll have completed your roll as a father.
Have a great trip. Remember to explain that the rats, squirrels, rabbits, foxes and hares are all bigger where you come from. It's obligatory.

He's my step kid and overall a great kid.
The Muscle Car was out- but a decent compromise was a 1995 Chevy 2500 4X4. A 350 under the hood that he can work on, decent tires to chase hounds across the property with!
