thats a great idea. you could get one of them battery charging bags then when its cold shove a nail through the battery and enjoy the warmth in perfect safety
Spot on, lateral thinking at its best!

Working on roofs in all weathers, for over 40 years has taken it's toll. I do find that I feel the cold more nowadays.

Don't believe all of the "you'll be used to the cold then" bollocks :eh:

yup, same here George , 40 years on the trowel has it's side effects. I do laugh when people say " you'll be used to it by now", yeah sure,
like you get used to -2. :lolno:. Thermals are on now till next spring.

I'm sure you've been there, John. Those days when you get home from work and have to soak in one piping hot bath after another just to get some warmth into your bones. Not fun :(

That, coupled with all of the chipped bones in your left thumb that you've walloped with the mash hammer when you missed the cold chisel. They start to ache when you get into your late fifties.

Thanks to the man who invented the thermals

Well despite all my aches and pains and reluctance to go to work during the cold months, i'm sat here, looking across the room
at my super ten with the photon on top and i'm sure I can manage a few hours no matter what the temperature is........ it really
aint that cold is it? ;)
