Oh yes google home page came up. and a pop up about active x, do I want it to run ?

Do I install active x ? will the pc now just go to google (or any home page) or is there something more needed?

Not just yet mate, it seems as though the settings in the router are not set right, can you try typing 192.168.0.1, this should give you the menu for your router, if it does the only advise I can give is to reset to facory settings and see if that works.

that's taken me through to virgin superhub website and let me log in, anything in there I should do. Try to reset to default maybe? I can do that on the router by sticking a pin in the little hole (according to instructions)

Rod, just found this by doing a quick search, it may help, you never know.

First off are both wireless routers set on different channels? If yes try the following below cut and pasted Directly from Microsoft.

Follow these methods and check.
