They want me to send them back to their supplier whatever that means if they don't work when I try them connected.

I've opened the dispute.

Oldest trick in the China book.
They know that your not going to go to the bother or the cost of sending them back. So they are expecting you to leave it.
Problem is that PayPal will say that you should send them back also.

Too late now but the best thing to do when you get a broken packet from China is to say it hasn't been received. It can take a while to get a replacement but it seems that it's the only way with some sellers.

I ordered mine from a different seller about a month ago... I hope it arrives in better shape than yours... I would be so mad  :x Waiting for so long to find they are no good... I am sure you will get your refund either thru them or pay pal.... Good Luck Dave.

Hmm... muggins here ordered another five after only an un-powered visual inspection.... that could be a fallback plan for payback.

Dave, you can add photos of the damaged screens on your eBay case, possibly even a video. That will help you winning the case. Tell the supplier that you are willing to send the faulty goods but want them to pay for the shipping cost, in advance!

I have had to to this just in the last 2 weeks. The video you showed us is un-disputable. You need the screens and you proved that in ordering more. I can believe that one might have been broken accidentally but 4 smashed screens at the same time? No way. I hope you get justice, mate. :|
...the doctor said that I need to do gentle exercise... I said to him that I already did... trigger squeezing!
