Hi all.
This proposed ban will not only ban the transportation of guns, it will also ban the transport of gun parts. The full thread on BBS can be seen here;
http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread.php ... royal+mail
We have been pestering the Royal mail, Offcom and local MP's about this as well as signing the petition. If you have a few minutes free could i please ask everyone to write a letter of complaint and send it to:
Royal Mail:
zoe.allchorn@royalmail.com
Offcom:
contact@ofcom.org.uk
And your local MP's
We only have a few days left until they make up their minds so the more people that bombard them with e-mails the better the chances of us stopping this!
I have had a vague answer from the Royal Mail.
The response fromd Offcom indicates that they are against the proposal but seem to be sitting on the fence until the decision is made. and of course, as always when they are needed my MP is on holiday.
Fingers crossed they dont pass this ban or create a new class of service specialy for the transpotation postage for guns as that will probably cost us a fortune to use!
If you have not done so already please get typing and sending some letters ASAP
cheers
Al
