I have got some advice for anybody that owns a rav4 d4d and decides to replace the suction control valves in the fuel pump , unless you have hands the size of an action man , the patience of mother theresa and all the skills of a trained contortionist ...............................................................

Ha ha, you wish. You forget O wise one, I went back to land Rover after trying Toyota (on the recommendation of someone who's Yota's cost him a bomb in repairs) :o

Well I drive a Mitsubishi, had it 10 years, never washed it, never changed the oil and never let me down ;)
Land Rovers, who would be daft enough to own one?

Only ten years ............. lightweight :lol: Last defender ten years, one before that twelve years. Still got one here that I can't remember how long, it was made in 67 though. I do change the oil every now and then though, and always wash them for mot :lol:

Funny enough, sons girl has a shogun, had more done to it in the six months she's had it than my disco in three years. Mates shogun has had turbo, dash clocks, bearings, brakes in twelve months. I told him he must be lying to me as only LR need repairs, japs never break :roll:

Hang on, I tell a lie, disco broke a fortnight ago ............................ windscreen got cracked by whoever knows what . Damn these LR's, fitting unreliable windscreens :lol:
