Well that's our son officially left home today ! Daughter went 12 months ago, just leaves me and the missus here now
He's gone off down Wiltshire with his wife to be, no job and no house

Fair play to them though, they'll do it. I towed the caravan down to a site and that's where they'll stay while job and house hunting. They've both been brought up to be fighters and go get what you need, it's out there, you just have to find it.
Good luck to both of them

I bet you and the misses aren't sat there celebrating tonight Rod.
I'll openly admit to being gutted when my son left home.
When they go they take a part of you with them.

Totally agree with chas, use to think I'll always be able to find my tools etc but my goodness did I miss him and still do although still see him most days.
Don't think my girl will be gone anytime soon she's turned her room into a bloody makeup come beauty room, plus 40 inch TV etc.

Think it's only just sinking in just how much this will affect my life Chas. We've worked together for years, we shoot together and we played together
I don't think we've been not seen each other every day ( apart from hols) for years, if at all !! It has to be though and I wouldn't wish them any different. If this is what life has for them then so be it
We usually get up early, both of us, so used to go to a car boot on a Sunday morning. Shan't bother in the morning, it won't be the same. Looks like finding other things to do now, perhaps I'll put more effort in to annoying the missus

When our daughter went all I missed was the noise, the constant smell of talc and the bathroom door permanently locked

I've been minding my niece and nephew for a few days. Naps? they are better than a jammed snooze button for getting me out of bed. Love em, but I'm learning the definition of fratricide. This post took ten minutes to type.
