Why do people do it? Got a phone call this evening would it be legal for me to go and shoot a fox in someones garden? Apparently they have been feeding a couple of fox's one of which is a vixen very cute and getting quite tame by all accounts. Unfortunately they have become bored with cat and dog food and decided to vary their diet with a main course of guinea pig lol.
Told em to phone the council as I don't think their neighbours would take too kindly to a 243 going off at the dead of night pmsl.

It's cos no one is street wise these days. Kids don't go out like we used to and they get taught a load of pants at school. Animals are nice, hug trees they are lonely. They aren'pt allowed to say be wary of foxes they may eat your rabbit, guinea pig or even your cat on occassion in case children are traumatised and the school gets sued for causing mental anguish.

Sad isn't it.

From what they say there are houses at the back somewhere so will leave it to the council pest control operatives to sort out lol.
Should be easy enough to trap if they have been feeding them if all else fails they can bait it with a guinea pig lol.

I have had the same conversation tonight, similar thing residential area, can I got round and pop off some foxes?...hmmm. well ive an hmr but it isn't conditioned for fox,,and I don't really fancy the talk to the plod when summat goes wrong.
I suggested trapping and taking them off site, then blowing their brains out in a field in the middle of nowhere.much better idea.

Then what,, find the den and dig the cubs??? or just leave them to starve? if you dont get the job done during the winter, leave them be, come April when there's cubs on the ground we should show them some respect.

See if they will let you shoot from the bedroom window, you might be able to get a shot and not have to worry about the back stop so much?
