Sunday Shooting
Sunday Shooting
Other than clays on the odd occassion I have never shot on a Sunday, just treated it as a family dayin the past. So obiviouly you cant shoot game. What's the story on pests ie rabbit, wood pigeon and fox. Read the BASC website and it looks to be ok.
Re: Sunday Shooting
I shoot any and every day (obviously not Game) excluding Christmas day.

Rabbits are pests - but become classed as game if they have been poached.

A bit like cats then, classed as wild animals when they crap in your garden, suddenly become much loved pets when you do something about it

Re: Sunday Shooting
Vermin can be shot legally on a Sunday and so can game if you are shooting in Scotland although it is frowned upon.

Re: Sunday Shooting
I was always taught that it was not done to shoot before midday on a Sunday due to church services being conducted in the villages. After that you could make as much noise as you like

I believe in Norfolk you can't shoot Wildfowl on Sundays...Fortunately I don't live in Norfolk
