Hello all.
Any information and help would be great in finding the most economical way to transport a gun cabinet from County Durham south to either the West Midlands Game Fair for the weekend of September the 19th/20th or to anywhere near Swansea anytime in the next few months or so. Ideally looking for someone who would be going that game fair who would be able to bring the gun cabinet with them from County Durham for a good contribution towards their fuel cost etc. Or any knowledge on the best courier company to choose to pick up in County Durham and deliver to anywhere near the Swansea area. All ideas and helpful advice will be appreciated and welcomed. Thank you all Phil

I used Shiply to get a quote for bringing some roofing panels down from the Midlands a couple of years ago - you put in what, where, where to, when and people send you quotes..... usually to avoid returning home empty.
The roofing panel was 6m long and I knew it would have to be cut in half and the guy that brought it down was still over-optimistic as to what he could get in his lwb van. Still he did it even though he broke a few of the yard rules at the other end in getting them to cut it.
I'd just say take a bit of care in who you choose and don't go for the cheapest (although that doesn't always mean the more expensive are going to be better).

If it's any help I can store it here in the West Midlands for you if it comes before the game fair
Means you can possibly use transport that doesn't tie in with game fair dates.
