Hi all, went out foxing last night just before last light ,walked through a few fields to a spot i had seen a few foxes a couple of nights before, took the nightvision with me for when it got dark, stayed a few hours until it was pitch dark didn,t see no fox only a few rabbits,so i thought i,d try somewhere else,as i walked back through the fields came to the last field before my vehicle, half way through the field felt as if there was something behind me so turned around and flicked the archer on only to see a f-----g big bull behind me  ,thought how the hell am i going to get out of this couldn,t run as my knees are knackered,so i stood my ground and aproached him slowly as he wasn,t moving only thing i could think of was to stroke him on his head thankfully he was very docile so i backed off slowly and got back to my vehicle. told the wife when i got back in she thought i was  .there is a sign on gate bull in field but it hasn,t been there for months must have missed him when i went in earlier.any of you guys experienced anything like this

and fell head over tip over a long horn bull he was just lying down. He did no more than just look at me has if to say you daft tw-t I'm big enough to see. There was no damage done to either of us, I just felt like a bloody big fool trouble is the wife agreed.

Got to laugh ain't ya.
I've had some strange things happened over the years but never a bull behind me.
Can't help but think the smell would have put bully off had it happened to me.

I shoot a number of Cattle farms and have never had any bother from Bulls; the Cows with young are more likely, in my opinion, to cause problems.

My shooting buddy, on the other hand, seems to attract the negative attention of all Cattle in the vicinity and has been seen 'squaring up' to them on a number of occasions! Makes me laugh actually.... "Just leave them alone", I tell him :)

I certainly wouldn't want to trip over one to test it patience though LOL

Went skinny dipping on a full moon when I was 12. Moon rose over the waves, lovely light on the sand and water, so people came out to walk along the beach. Didn't want to get out of the water because nekkid. Then, silhouetted against the moon, just beyond the breakers, two fins started rising and falling. Ended up sitting in the wash zone, trying to hide the third leg of the tripod while staying out of dinner depth. Then they jumped. Bloody dolphins.

It was more a case of looking were I'd been and not were I was going
