Hello

Post by Sako85 » 12 Jan 2013, 00:52

I didn't know there was an NV forum until today so I thought I would join. I have been shooting since I was about 11 yrs old which is quite some time ago now, I shoot shotgun, rimfire and centrefire which is where my interest in NV is based. I am currently interested in the newly released Pulsar Digital Night Vision Forward DFA75 so I would be very interested in reading your thoughts and observations if you have already purchased one.

Think we are all waiting to see who will splash the cash on this one. interested to see if it manages not to suffer from the moving poi that the earlier ones suffered..

I have a job which justifies me buying one - does it live up to the hype though ? As you say we are all eagerly waiting, it must change the zero of the scope, the small number of reports so far have been very good in other respects. At least it is quoted as being robust enough to withstand heavy centrefire recoil.

I would go for the test. Lot of money to find it doesn't work to your satisfaction Lol.
Can't see myself changing. 2 of my rifles are set up as dedicated NV rifles with ad ons. Set up by moving the scopes well forward with forward mounts and a long rail. bUT! :D

Yep I would have to agree with an option of keeping the unit (?) if it works as required or returning it and going down a different route it has to be a "no-brainer" doesn't it ?
