IR LED project

Hello folks. I'm in need of some advice please. I've just ordered this torch ( 1 ). And would like to put this led in to it ( 2 ). But i was hoping someone could recommend a driver for it please. I also have a maglite head ready. Any advice would be great. Thanx.

or could anyone recommend an ir led and driver circuit board that could be fitted in to t6 torch. I dont mind a little soldering.
