Forget the Atom - it's rubbish
The NV007 is the best bang for your buck add-on by a country mile.
They are made in China by a company called PARD and sold by several companies in the UK under a variety of names including, but not limited to: Warden Adder, Addonight, WG760, Blacknight NV007.
Whatever anyone tells you, these are just different names for exactly the same product, so buy from the retailer who you feel is giving you the best deal on price and service.

I use a Ward 800 for my foxing rifle. On the back of a decent scope (one that allows plenty of Infra Red through) such as my Hawke Sidewinder with a decent IR light source and it will give a good working range of over 300m. As with most digital NV kit it will work better with dry conditions and air moisture will quickly erode shooting range.
Earlier versions of the Ward with a fixed mounting clamp can interfere with the bolt action of the rifle, but you can get round it. Set up well its very good indeed but as with all add ons the right scope is critical.

Yes, the Ward 800 is a well known product with excellent performance.
It is manufactured and sold by one of our forum sponsors - Night Vision Store (see the link above)
It's around double the price of the NV007, but for long range shooting has better performance than the NV007
Given that you want to fit the add-on to a 22 rimfire, then the extra range achievable with the ward 800 is irrelevant and IMHO the NV007 represents the best value for your money.
Your Hawke eclipse scope should work fine - although adjusting the AO might be a bit of a pain with the add-on fitted unless your arms are as long as a gorillas

I would agree with what Bruce said above with the proviso that night vision, like hunting, is addictive. The Ward is very good not just for range (arguably more IR and scope dependent than the unit) but clarity of picture. All these things work well in good conditions but when there is moisture in the air they quickly close down. I would reckon a secondhand ward would be a better bet than than the new range of NV007 stuff.

Theres a lot more contrast and eye shine using an NV007 over a Ward 700/800 or any E700 based add on.

How much does an NV007 add to the back of the dayscope?

A little more than than using one with a mirror prism , probably an extra couple of inches onto your normal eye position when using a normal dayscope, as your tight to the unit. I have no bother fitted to any of my rifles airgun through to centrefires, although some like to use stock extenders, it doesn't affect me at all really..
