Well done Bruce you beat me to it again lol,

I would like to add to that though, the 25mm is still available as I get them in to order, only good for very low mag scopes as you have over 2x base mag on the unit itself, great if your using it for spotting mainly !

The software is a little more complicated as I have about 3 versions that I can install, the other is laser off permanently if you live in places that do not permit the import of import lasers, the others change the aspect ratio for the different lenses and cross hair like Bruce mentioned.

Anything else you may have heard is probably misleading !

Thank you Bruce and Ash for your replies. The Adder instructions identify the IR laser as a class 3B - avoid exposure to beam and the designator as a class 2 - do not stare into beam.

I have used a wd700 and t20/35 on a Hawke sidewinder and CZ455 varmint for a number of years now and have found the single button operation so easy in the field. The wd700 fits without problems to the eye relief or stock fit. The concept of the Pard unit is great but it's just that little bit longer which throws everything out but a Beartooth stock extender helps. Oh and it has 4 buttons in an area the size of my thumb print which can be interesting in the dark!

Again I notice the Blackwood instructions refer to a locking thumb screw for the occular which mine doesn't have and could really do with as it is quite free and will move during the evenings outing requiring repeated adjustment which is annoying. At the moment I can't totally commit to the Adder, preferring to continue using the wd700 which provides, at times Imo, a better view and is a good example of 'KISS' technology for the user.

Thanks again.

The early models of the adder/NV007 did not have the ocular locking screw.
Mine did not, but a friend who bought one a wee while after me did get one with the locking screw.
I have now fitted a locking screw to mine, but it did involve removing 3 very small screws which hold the ocular in place and then drilling and tapping the ocular body with an M2 thread so that I could fit a locking screw.
Another alternative might be to tape the ocular in place once It's adjusted to suit your eyes.
