Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
Hi All,
I am a new member so please bear with. I have a Blaser R8 and am looking to fit a PARD 008, I would like to keep the PARD as low as pos. To do this I am looking for a rail that will screw straight onto a Blaser QD saddle mount, then directly onto the PARD.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Welcome to the forum GP
Freeforester over on the Stalking Directory offers one solution.............couldn't find him as a member on here, so here are the links......

I've had one of these rear extended rails on my R93 for several years now.......OK there is a very slight amount of flex in it but as long as I don't rest my hand on the scope when taking the shot its absolutely fine. The dayscope and initially, a Mk1 Drone Prone 5-10 followed by a Wardy 75/3 thermal scope for the last 4 years, have all happily sat on top with no problems on poi/poa/zero retention call it what you like.... I have total faith in it. My R93 Off-road Pro stock has had a Kalixteknik cheek riser on it for the last few years too, makes all the difference.

A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting.

Many thanks Fizz.
Re: Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
This mount will do everything you want, direct from Pard to Blaser QR but be prepared to bend over on the price!!

Thanks Anthony.
Price is interesting. I already have a spare saddle mount so really want to try and use it

You can just use a Tier One picatinny rail which fits on top of a standard saddle mount:
https://tier-one.eu/products/tier-one-p ... 5530563152
This would probably be the cheapest solution but may not bring the Pard back far enough for you.
The mounts that Fizz linked too on SD are made in Poland by this company:
http://luszczek.pl/
I have never used them so I don't know if they are any good or not.
Otherwise probably one of the extended Zruncho rails that Fizz uses would deffo work.

Re: Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
Looking at the Tier One rail I have here it looks like it should be reversible so it might work in that case but I don't have a saddle mount here to check, mine hasn't arrived yet.

Re: Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
The tier one rails that attach to Blaser mounts are far from low.
Re: Blaser R8 PARD 008 Mount
I have just been looking online at saddle mounts and I am now pretty sure the rail won't mount in reverse, although it could be easily machined to do so.
I also agree with Scotch Egg in that the Tier One option is far from low.
This is the mount I intend to use on mine the majority of the time but I am not planning on doing much NV work with it:
https://www.innogun-shop.de/innomount/a ... tinny?c=54
This is the lowest picatinny rail mount I could find for Blaser, but Innomount currently have significant lead time from ordering as everything is made to order so I bought the Tier One rail in case it doesn't turn up in time
