A wee bit off topic from a night vision question but ? any marine/heavy plant/crane/machinery fitters with any knowledge of diesel fuel pre-heaters that Mannesmann produced about +/- 25 years ago. It is a solid bronze 3" diameter cylindrical casting, 3.5" long, with 2 stainless steel 90% angle feet, 2 inlets and 2 outlets in 1/4" BSP female threads in a cross flow pattern. 1 Black, 1 Brown & 1 Blue electrical wires. PM me for me to email you photographs of the Mannesmann unit if any of the above rings any bells in the old grey cell knowledge !!!
