Hello, I've used Gen 2+ and 3+ extensively back in the army but I've been medically discharged a long time ago and recently just bought a Yukon Spartan 1x Gen 1 NV monicular to watch the stars.
Do you guys know where to best look for adapter to link this up with my MEADE ETX 70?

Think you might have to use something universal...can you show us the eyepiece of the telescope and its dimensions

I'm assuming the spartan has at least on 1/4" thread underneath it?

No threads on the Yukon, it's all packaged with focus dials on the front and back lenses both rubberized.

Not on the lenses. On the underside there should be one or two threaded holes
I had the previous model to the spartan years ago, same thing just a different name.
They do helmet mounts and stuff for it and I'm guessing they still do?
If not then there isn't an off the shelf option and you're gonna have to get creative

Yes, there are two 1/4" threads under the device, which I do use with a head mount.

I've never actually seen a head mount for it in person but the dayscope adaptors used both 1/4" holes iirc. In your case you could use either one as an adjustment

Beside the question of mechanical adaptation, just to mention that the ETX 7'0 has a F/D around 5 if i do not mistake myself (i own one exemplar).
(I) Without the genuine lens from the NVD: prime focus configuration.
For a gen 1 (one stage) NVD, this optics is quite slow and would not "feed" a lot the photocathode of our NVD.
It would be, IMHO, perhaps a better option to use the fastest lens as possible (1.4 or faster, for instance) and to do wide field sky observation.
Nevertheless, if you want to use your ETX70 as it is, with your gen 1 NVD, with a good dark sky, it can be interesting to aim star clusters, bright galxies (M31, M81,...) and especially some globular clusters like M13 or M92 which are in general nice near infrared emitters.
Other option you could consider would be to add a focal reducer to your ETX 70.... Something like a x0.5 reducer.... It would bring your scope to a resultant F/D=2.5: more friendly with your NVD (brighter images).
(II) with the genuine lens from the NVD: afocal configuration, with using a proper exepiece.
with an eyepiece having a longueur focal length than the genuine lens from your NVD, It would allow you to "accelerate" (faster resulting F/D aperture) your whole optical system, at the cost of the field of view, it is true....
