Been out, just got back. Saw ......................nothing. Well, I tell a lie, about 3 moths and an owl of some sort flashed by. Where the hell are they all ?? Been very quiet for the last few weeks but tonight was downright lonely

at least you have a permission... I only go out if invited.
Last time I went out, I did see a dozen scattered about the land but couldn't get close enough for a shot... tell a lie, I did hit one but the little shit managed to get in his hole a couple of feet away from where I shot it.

If you want to have a drive up here we can go out for a couple of hours on a small permission I have local ? Has to be after 9 ish though as the horsey folk wander round until then. They wouldn't half moan if a rimmy hit them up the backside

generally not an easy target to miss in my experiance with horsey types, well ones over a certain age anyways
