Evenin all,

Have been using Gen1 Exelon and Merlin for some time and have recently disposed of it to embrace the digital revolution and empty the bank balance, just got an armasight prime digital monocular and waiting, along with everyone else, for the drone to enter stage left. Been lurking for a while trying to get my head round the rate of illumination evolution and have given sika stag some business while a couple of t20's are on the slow boat from China.

Cheers, Rab

Hello Rab.
I ordered an Armasight dc prime today.
The wait will be agonising.

How are you getting on with it. Is it in need of extra illumination?
How about battery life?

Bryan.

Bryan, dc prime is pretty good for the money, variable gain is handy, not too bad for battery life as you will have to use extra illumination. No worries about tube damage with artificial light sources either.

Rab.
Got my DC Prime today,already.
I agree that extra IR may be required and probbably fixed using the tripod attachment points.
It will be interesting to get out on a nice dark night and have a look when I have mastered the twiddly bits.

Bryan.
