501B v 502B torches

Post by AirRifleSport » 02 Oct 2013, 11:02

Can someone tell me what is the difference between a 501b torch and a 502b one?

I know that the 501b does it take the P60 drop-in module but so does the 502b.
...the doctor said that I need to do gentle exercise... I said to him that I already did... trigger squeezing!

Never had one but it looks like they have a fancy clip on the 502b one.

Here you go, 501 on top, 502 on bottom
502 has a chunkier bezel and a belt clip

Thanks Jinks! Did you notice any difference on the way the P60 seat in the torch head?

Had both, the 502b has a type of washer with a rivet in the battery tube that the + end of the battery makes contact, also the end caps are different, the 502b having a male threaded end cap.
And as said the 502b has a chunkier bezel and feels better made but that contact washer can be fiddly in making contact with the + spring on the p60 drop in.
