Please take note:
As we are constantly having to remind those people who don't read the sticky, to add their location to their profile, this is now mandatory.
For those who persist, you will not be allowed to post until you have done so. There is a very good explanation of how it's done, earlier in this thread.
Thanks.
Admin.

Can I ask, why this is mandatory?
One of the greatest capabilities internet offers is privacy and anonymous access (as much as possible). Why to kill this feature? Pressure from Govt. ?

It's mandatory for both the sake of transparency and of friendliness and good manners also.
How would it be for a member to attempt to sell an item if he would not disclose his/her location? Do you really think that others would see that as a safe buy?
If a member has a location, then other members can see as to whether they are near to hand should they offer face to face advice or an offer to 'try before you buy' with their own equipment.
Really can't see why you have a problem with it, and having 'Home' as your location will not suffice. Your choice.

The link may be helpful to the IT admin man.
I'm sure George is fed up reminding people to add their location, but really the forum should ask for this automatically a registration.

Hope we can get it sorted.
