go-lights.....any good?

chaps
i'm thinking of building a new roof mounted spotter. this time i want white light too
so before i start trying to re-invent the wheel whats a standard go-light like compared to say a LF170?

Can't you just drill a hole and use a light on a stick

Hi Adam
we bought one about 3-4 years ago.............good work lamp, as it throws quite a wide beam.............but for lamping, its ok for say, .22 or hmr but not a patch on the LF170
hence ours sat in its box after only being used half a dozen times........the remote control is good tho

the square body on em does suit my build though. good enough excuse to whack a couple of 74mm aspherics on top lol

needs a bit of improvement tho. fine when using in a static position........but a bit top heavy over rough ground
wanted to keep the white light, but am going to remove the box off the top and fix the camera and a single 66lens in its place.................
well something like that
