Had my thermal top on yesterday :(

Working on roofs in all weathers, for over 40 years has taken it's toll. I do find that I feel the cold more nowadays.

Don't believe all of the "you'll be used to the cold then" bollocks :eh:

Cold I can tolerate provided I go for a walk for a bit and then warm enough. Might be a bit difficult to do on a roof mind.
Rain. I hate, makes me wet and cold and difficult to shoot.

In saying that I am well versed in things that make me warm cos if I have to sit in the cold I do feel it.
But I don't need a vest. Cos I have a woodburner. Whoohoo

The cold I can deal with (DeerHunter Rusky jacket, sometimes too hot), but its the rain which gets on my tits.

Usually Monday-Friday = dry weather, Saturday night (shooting night) = torrential rain!

You could always try carrying around a few of the ultra cheap Chinese lithium batteries, a quick short circuit and instant warmth
