Excellent image quality.
If that's what you get with only half a moon then little wonder the better tubed gear is so covert with such little amounts of IR needed.
More tubed porn is needed on 'ere.

the iphone is very hard to take a photo with, you need to be a octopus, its got to be held tight to the eyepiece, whilst pressing the screen to focus it & press the shutter, cant manage it on live quarry yet as I always end up shooting it

I have figured a way to do it but can't shoot. I bought one of those phone clamp to a scope things and can even make it fit the archer. But it is too close to be able to see to use it to shoot. But I have some testing to do so that would be ideal. Hmmm. Best dig it out.
Sorry just remembered something.

Yes Dave is right, more tube porn pictures. Nice picture, gen3?
I have seen phone adapters made out of an old phone case and piece of pvc tube to fit over the ocular.

it does kill two birds with on stone, I wanted to record & maybe view the thermal with a screen
how much more can you get on the back of a rifle with a archer on, I already use a but pad (not in the bedroom)

I think I've read that you need to modify it slightly to fit the archer but I'm half tempted by one for the iPhone and thermal. Not to record but as its less bright on your eyes its much more comfortable on your eyes to view for long periods, it does light up your face a bit though. I've tried holding my phone there but it kept zooming and focussing so wasn't sure if it really was the answer. The jack output from a thermal to a screen gives a lovely picture however. The slight degradation of a 'picture' of the screen did 'seem' to slightly reduce definition clarity when looking at distant heat sources when there were lots of them but without holding the phone there at the same distance perfectly still I wasn't sure if it was the answer or not.

I've gone for one so I can have a play, ordered it from the main website as I wanted a Otterbox mount, I didn't fancy using the iPhone unprotected,
Another issue people are having if just on the back of a scope is they can't work the bolt, just a slight oversight lol
