What do you people recommend? Of course they need to be waterproof, wind proof and... not expensive.

I have some Berghaus Wind Stoppers in black excellent in cold wind but not waterproof + I can feel my trigger through them

Think they were about £25.00 from some walking shop

Now, don't laugh, but, get some of the cheap thinsulate gloves the petrol station do for a few bob with fuel. Unpick the hard pvc palm and thumb cover and remove. Place gloves flatish and cover palm , thumb and fingers with silicon sealer (it soaks in but that's fine) and leave to dryi. When dry they grip like a grippy thing in a grippy competition and are cheap enough to lose

Try the neoprene fingerless fishing gloves.
The reason i say that is because divers wet suites are made of neoprene, so water proof and warm.
Or buy them with fingers and just chop the finger and thumb off, they wont fray.

i just use the cheapest neoprene one's i can find at the time. i'll only use cheap ones cos one usually gets lost before too long

I just use the cheapo ebay camo ones with dot palm grips that work really well, even if you use two pairs in the very coldest times. Cheap enough to buy a few sets and leave them all over the place and the trigger finger remains sensitive too.

I hear you guys. Keep them on coming.
I own a pair of Mac Wet Climatec and they seem OK for the not too below zero times but they are not waterproof. My friend has also a pair but it is he that likes to replace them with something "better". There are some ridiculous asking prices out there for a pair of gloves!

I tried neoprene but found them cold I think they make your hands sweat then freeze to death
