Ive been after one of those for a while.

The one we have at home has no bits left as they have all been used. but there is no point getting new bits as the chuck on it doesnt tighten up any more, that was a wickes one i think.

Has anyone used the Parkside grinders?

I think Parkside is Lidl's own brand cheapo chinese grinders. Probably OK as long as you don't work them too hard or for too long.
Bosch or DeWalt they ain't!!

The grinders are brilliant, I've had one for a couple of years now , not really worked it hard but it's always done what I want it to. A weird plug fitting on the transformer , variable speed controller which is useful. For £20 you can't miss.

I'm gonna have to start and read these post properly! . I didn't see it was cordless! I still think it's a bargain at £20 though .

The good thing though bruce is you do get a 3 year warranty

might be tempted with the mini tool kit

had a parkside cordless drill a few years back now, was a good little tool till the battery died...........and that was my own fault, working with it in the rain

I got one of these a while ago it probably gets used 2-3 times a week and is still going strong although i like the idea of a cordless one

ive never used the cordless but the corded ones are top job . i use one nearly every day at some point on wood micarta and hardend steel blades . get a cheep extention shaft of eblag and there a good tool , the aldi one is also a blinding little one as well . i have a brand new black and decker one thats been under the bench for nearly a year as i prefer this

nice find...i need a one since my cordless dremel started to smoke and pack in...this will do the job fine
