Anyone got a bent barrel I can borrow ?????

Post by chas » 24 May 2012, 19:42

What a carry on, I ordered a new cleaning rod for my HMR and .204 from Bushwear.

Everything seemed fine until City Link got there hands on it.
The parcel was left with a neighbour and very well packaged but when I saw it my heart sank, so I photographed the packaging before opening it and again after, this is what I ended up with, some pillock must have stood on it big time.

I emailed Bushwear the photo's then rang them at 3:45pm to tell them my tale of woe, within literally a few seconds the bloke on the phone said "No problem we'll send you another one and pick the damaged unit up at the same time, I'll ring you back shortly to confirm".
He rang back at 4:00pm to say a new rod was already on the couriers van and it will be with me tomorrow.
I know things can go wrong but top marks to Bushwear for sorting the problem out so painlessly and quickly, it now remains to be seen what City Link manage to do to this unit.
Well done Bushwear.
NOT well done City Link.

New one arrived this morning and bugger me it's straight.
The titanium reinforced courier proof packaging may have had something to do with it.
Damned good service from Bushwear I would say.

If my experience is anything to go by I think you might be right mate.
There's to many shoddy firms around, so those who go the extra mile do deserve recognition.

I had trouble trying to find some thick work socks the same colour as the carpet, so got some black ones and leave a trail of fluffy bits so I know where I've been.
It works as well, never been lost in the house as yet.
