I thought I would mention this on this forum as there are a few technically minded(Gifted) people on here.
I saw this camera system mentioned on another forum http://www.bullseyecamera.com/index.html

It costs 600 bucks US so it would be fair to say about £100000000 over here

Here is a video showing the components https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhlM0HkaQKU

Do you guys think this is something that you could knock up on the cheap?

Many thanks

:eh: is it An ITAR item, then? Doesn't sound too dear if not, esp if you're going to start with a bit of head scratching, an empty cornflakes packet, empty loo roll, glitter and some DS sticky backed plastic?

It looks as though the software is the important part of the system, the hardware is fairly well tried and tested.

I put together a wireless Target Camera a couple of years ago, good for up to 300 meters + but the software would be nice so if anyone downloads it please share :)

Interesting!

I wonder how far Wifi will travel in a field? might give it a try this weekend with a IP camera I have. Hopefully it will show the live stream from the IP cam straight to my Andoroid phone.

For more advanced uses -
Is there anyone on the forum that can do basic programming? Windows, Html or Android?

I suggest trying it at home first as you may have to do it through a router, any wireless router should work. I'm afraid that my basic programming skills are juts that and will fall a long way short of what you're after. If you know what you want (roughly) it might be worth starting a separate thread for an enquiry.
