Go pro or cheaper alternative?

Post by THE GRIFF » 27 Sep 2014, 19:35

A mates grandson is saving his pocket money to buy a go pro for his shotgun, he has been shooting for a couple of years and has his interview on Monday for his own licence now he is 15 and wants to film some of his shooting.
I am sure I read somewhere about a cheaper version of the go pro that's available and performs just as good.
I know nothing about these cameras but was hoping someone on here could point us in the right direction and advise on the best options, if he can save a few quid by getting one from china or a British company that is a different make to the go pro.

There's a couple of folk on here who ordered one from sure, they were going to let us know what they're like but there was a hold up with delivery (I think) Don't know if they ever received them ?

I'm sure George ordered one
