New toy

Hi everyone ,it's bought time I said hello .iv been a member for couple of months now and a complete nv novice .im a full time keeper on a 3000 acre estate in w norfolk and done my fair share of lamping in my 29 years of keepering but had nothing to do nv ,so after lurking on your forum getting info iv treated my self to a nt300 to go on 22 and 223.just want to say thanks to marky and nite tek I love the unit and have delt with tons of rats on our pig unit and can't wait to try for a fox when I finally get round to rezeroing 223(had to change scopes).thanks for a great forum. Yes marky I love it ,I had a few problems setting it up but then decided to read your instruction manual and no looking back

,who reads the manual any way I'm a 45 year old man and i know best

. Been out to night and was watching hares at 250+ m and have accounted for 60+ rats of pig unit. now looking at a mamba sf scope just for ease of use for 223 for foxes as find ao a bit fiddly to fine tune when looking through scope . Excellent bit of kit marky and thanks for all your help getting kitted out ,now thinking about building my own spotter to rule out the use of a lamp . Thanks again jim

Welcome to the dark shoot forum Jim.
You must be one of the remote back woods type, there can't be many long term keepers left who have not used NV now.

Welcome to the forum, Jim. If you want to build your own spotter then Some Bloke is the man to talk to. He's got it down to an art and can sell you a housing or a complete unit. Uses the same camera as Marky's NT300, so it should be compatible range wise.
