I've got one here that a customer returned because they dropped it and put a slight dent in the bezel. As that's the bit you cut off it should be perfect for your needs.

The yukon lens fits the T38 after a little chase out of the threads, done a couple for other members and use on myself, if you want one give us a pm and I'll do you one for the price of a T38 (T38 is a much nicer torch than the old T20 )
