Gen 3 US Night Vision PVS-14

Post by armynick » 22 Jun 2015, 11:13

I have an un-used 'US Night Vision" Gen 3 PVS-14 for sale.

IBought in 2009 but never used, it has been kept in storage ever since. Along with the monocular itself, the following items are included:
• US Night Vision bag and small pelicase
• US Night Vision bag Head harness with various mounting clamps
• US Night Vision bag Helmet harness with various mounting clamps
• US Night Vision bag Battery operated IR post
• US Night Vision operators manual
• Optic tissue wipes
• La Rue Tactical picatinny rail mount (Not shown)

These units currently cost $3545 from US Night Vision in the USA. Then you would have to add VAT and import charges. There is just one problem though, due to more recent US export rules, obtaining one now requires a licence, which is unlikely to happen.

My asking price is only £2800. Ono (Not to be confused with inferior Gen 1 or 2 units.)
I will ask for a copy of ID from any potential buyer

Noticed he'd posted the ad on the Stalking Directory as a reply to historical requests for a 14.

Guess he's punting it everywhere he can.

Perhaps he wants id so he can pass your details on to the Yanks..... :?

Cheers

Hello all
"Just stating the obvious  that even if someone had an almighty and uncontrollable urge to be the new owner of a 6 year old unknown and untested 14 for a price of £2,500 plus or there about etc" It should definitely be a person to person inspection prior to any possible purchase just in case your £2,500 plus ends up in the local post office of a hard to reach Bolivian rural village and you are still left waiting for the post man to turn up next April
Yes I am bad for thinking that but who knows etc. Just a thought that "There is a tone within the for sale advert that suggests the vendors use of our English grammar is not their every day language. and also that I have had not had a reply to my question of what part of London are you for a face to face " When I find some spare time I really am going to take some lessons in being a more trusting person :lolno: Thanks all and sorry in advance for the bad humour. Phil
