FAC airgun for sale phoenix fastfire10

Post by thesmi » 19 Jul 2015, 14:47

Hi have a phoenix fast fire 10 in .22 and 24ftlb i will never use it so id like to swap or sell it £350.

Comes with test sheets box fill probe mags and spares as new from shop.

There is only one mark where my silencer fell of shelf and hit it aprox 5mm long and this rifle has never been used let alone zeroed etc just sat in cabnet has never leaked either. Comes with the bigger upgraded bottle not the skinny little one.

Any one who is seriously interested then and wants to see it then id happily get a scope so can see it working etc

HI as I understand it, once an fac ,the serial no is recorded and cant be detuned and sold as none fac, unless the buyer has a ticket and wants to add the rifle and then detune for very close inside fragile structures with the benifit to up the power as required

Unfortunately i cant do that tho an rfd maybe able too but thats something i dont know.

I had thought about contacting essex firearms dept and seeing what they do say because if it was sub 12 if happily keep it and leave it in the boot of truck

I think its a play on the 'capable' bit of the law. If it is capable of being made to FAC powers it has to remain FAC - but not all forces seem to be dogmatic about it. Best to ask your force area firearms licensing office IMO.

Wonder what the accuracy is like because they have a short barrel.
I have a non fac one and I love it. I wish they would get off their asses and redesign to update it. Get some of the weight out of it, regulate the air. Etc.
But with the cocking mechanism being so good I wonder why other companies do not use it.
Cracking ratting rifle. Wouldn't sell mine. Well, never say never.

Its a shame i dont have anywhere i can shoot indoors as would be perfect.
Id have no doubts in accuracy and if i get a spare 30quid il buy a scope and put it on.
