Someone on facebook asked me how to adjust the scope reticle when using an add-on. I'm not too brilliant at explaining things but here is an attempt to say how I have done it.

Its especially easy with this DSA on Hawke scopes for example. The DSA will slide over the eye bell and is best used with the deepest part of the 'chuck' hard against the reticle adjuster. Before you clamp it up very tight twist the DSA while it is pressed against the reticle focus adjuster.

A video probably explains it better than I can:

Just bought one of these new DSA units from Some Bloke. Seriously impressed with it and in my opinion definitely the way to go for anyone building an E700 type add on.

Gimme strength Lord, yer not going to wear me down Roger: Dunno what gave anyone the idea that I barter prices?

These are expensive to get made - when I can get them at all. I don't have many of the current batch left and bartering for a better price is likely to see the end of them.

There are cheaper alternatives on facebook and ebay - and a more expensive alternative on sure24 site.
All state their prices and I don't see any special prices for ageing Welshmen.

not being funny but a simple no would of been ok,
I offerer you 55 pounds for something you was asking 58 for, I did not ask you to give it to me for nothing
has for 8 pounds postage when its £3.10 normal post and £4.30 recorded

Lol, you and I are both stubborn oldies, maybe I'm more Victor Meldrew than you and haven't got the patience. You've tried haggling prices via PM - but I told you the price on this open thread and PM, that should have been the point where you decide to buy it or not.

You asked here about the price for ALL the parts - then complained by PM about me including the cost of the machined end fitting that you seemingly didn't need - but didn't tell me that. I apologised for misunderstanding you and quoted the price without the end fitting... Now you've decided you do want the end fitting after all but ask if I will accept £55 for all the parts - delivered but you have clearly been told £58.

Having been mugged off by people claiming non delivery of recorded delivery postal items in the past I now only supply parts via RMSD - which you will find costs £7 something for that package size. I generalised my postage rate on this thread at £8 - but told you by PM it would be £7, so £57 posted RMSD. I have never suggested I post via any other method.

This is all about you wanting to save first a few quid - and now just two pounds.

I'm British mate - British people say the price we want - we do not barter.

Sorry Roger but I can't be doing with such too-ing and fro-ing for a potential sale of a hard to get item. The price is there for all to see.
Can I suggest you save the few quid and get one of the ebay alternatives?

Unfortunately you also caught me at a time when I am seriously considering withdrawing from supplying bespoke home build parts because so many 'will-do' alternatives are being promoted as the best thing to have on other sites that specialise in the cheapest possible builds.
