Boxing day 10% off of my items listed for sale

Post by some bloke » 25 Dec 2015, 15:02

For exactly 23.59 hours only - a one day sale on boxing day - 10% off anything I currently list for sale here. Postage is not included in the sale. To save trawling through the sales section this is what is listed.

Hello, i could do with a spotter as i already have a scope add on. It will be used for ratting mainly, but 15- 40 yards range ideally. As the add on spotter is only a few quid more than the dedicated spotter, would i be just as well to get the add on spotter, or is it nor suitable for spotter short range? Thanks

That is a very very good question. I focus the 16mm lens to about 100 yards so it stays correct for the add-on duty. Let me try that for close range a moment.....

EDIT: Well that surprised me. I turned all the house lights off and stepped out back, our streetlamps have recently been swapped over to the new LED type that focus light below instead of allowing stray light to pullute wide areas.

Yes is focuses down to about 3 yards but you open the IR zoom up really wide. I can't comment on 'wide eye blur' but everything is in very fine focus detail so reckon the IR zoom on low power would be great. Thank you for asking the question.

Evening Dave,
Are you still selling just the metal tube used in your scope less set up?
Thanks.

An aspect that has only just occurred to me:

If something is sold, I will allow more to be ordered if it is ordered and paid for on Boxing day only... allow me a few days to build it.

It's two units clamped together on the DSA tube - like this, I hold it by the tube ready to slip the spotter onto the rifle:

I'm off to work in a few minutes so won't be able to answer any queries until maybe 3 or 4 AM.

I don't have the tap ATM Hamish. I know someone else is waiting for one too so make the order and it will make me go pick it up from my machinist who used it in a floating head (whatever that is) for my suction mount truck spotter threads.
