Wanted - Good 100mm (ish) Lens

Wanted - Good 100mm (ish) Lens

Watec 910 on the way so I'm looking for a good lens to do it justice.

I already have a Cosmicar/Pentax 8-48mm F1-1.2, and a Cosmicar 75mm 1:1.4, both of which work very well on my DIY builds, but I'm looking for something with longer legs.

Would prefer a prime, to reduce faff factor, but an excellent zoom would do, too.
C/CS or M42 mount as I have adaptors if required.

Zenit 105 / 1.5 would be absolutely ideal!

Not too bothered about cosmetics but must be optically and mechanically sound with no boogers, fungus, chainsaw gouges, grinder marks, lens gardens and/or whatever else passes for 'minor defect' on Fleabay. :wtf:

Pennies waiting - happy to pay via Paypal or whatever.

Hi , I'm not sure if this is any good for your needs but I have a PENTAX Super-Takumar 105mm F/2.8 in Very Good Condition? I bought this from Japan a few months ago when I extremed my photon but ive sold/selling my photon so this is spare. I know diddly squat about lenses so apologies if its totally the wrong type of lense

Craig,

Ta, pal, but that's a little slower than I was looking for.

Cheers anyway.

I have a Zenit 1.5/100 IR in my drawer that may or may not get used. It has several minor scratches to the rear lens.

I can't recall what I paid for it but might let it go if the money is good. Could anyone suggest a price for it?

Hi SB,

How bad are the scratches?
Bad enough to have an effect on the image quality or definition?

Dependent on price, I'd be interested if those scratches don't cause any real problems.

Please give me a shout when you've sorted a price out.

Sorry - just noticed your posts: The scratches are easily seen by the naked eye, I never got round to trying it and TBH have never found out the back focal length either. I won't be able to get to it for a few days.

SB,

OK, pal, I understand.

I'll leave it with you then, please give me a shout when you've had chance to weigh things up.

SB,

Please don't bother about this one now.

I've got my hands on a Zenit NV-100 device, for handy money, and the lens is pretty much mint. 8-)

Thanks anyway.
